Eee Family announced

Asustek has announced that it is going to launch a family of Eee products, these include the E-DT, E-Monitor, and the E-TV.

The E-DT, will be a standalone desktop PC that will not be sold with a monitor. Expected to launch in April or May this year and will be featured at CeBIT 2008. Asustek have indicated a price of between $200-300USD and will try to push the price down over time to $199USD.

The E-Monitor is an all-in-one device similar to Apple’s iMac and Dell’s XPS One systems, the E-Monitor will also feature a built in TV tuner and be directly targeting the 19-21″ market. Current pricing for the E-Monitor is set at $499USD

It’s definatly interesting to see Asustek bringing such new products to target not only home but enthusiast users. Finally the E-TV will be heading straight for the 42″ LCD TV range of displays and will feature Linux based functionality seen in other E Family products.
