Everex CloudBook, Febuary 15th release on track

Everex has updated their web site with a revised ship date for the CloudBook, Launching February 15th online.
At launch the CloudBook will be available for $399 USD from Walmart.com, ZaReason.com and expanding to further retail and online stores.
Running latest gOS Rocket operating system, the CloudBook boasts an impressive range of specs that rival the Asus EeePC and give customers a wider range of choice in this area.

Is this really such a big a challenger for the EEE? The specs don’t look that much different than the EEE with the main differences being the Hard drives and the video output.
There have also been comments that the effective speed of it will be only around the same as the EEE. I have not seen one, unlikely to see them down-under, but others have compared the basic specs as published.
Have you looked at the trackpad? It is a postage stamp sized block just alongside the right hinge. You cover it with your thumb to operate it, or if the computer is on the table you might be able to use your finger. The left and right buttons are just next to the left hinge. This is one machine that would be much better with a mouse attached.
